YAG Laser Procedure

Comprehensive Eye Examinations

Problems after cataract surgery are rare but can occur. Sometimes the tissue that encloses the artificial intraocular lens becomes cloudy and blurs the vision. This is called an after-cataract. This can develop months or even years after cataract surgery. This outpatient procedure is treated with a laser, called YAG laser capsulotomy.

Oculoplastics

Content Woman

Oculoplastic surgery encompasses a variety of surgical procedures which treat the eyelids, tear ducts and the face.

Glaucoma Surgery

Old and Young

Damage to the optic nerve is irreversible, which means there is no cure for glaucoma. However, it is possible to control the increased eye pressure which can prevent further vision loss. Your doctor will discuss which treatment options are available and will recommend the ones right for you.

Corneal Surgery

Cornea Transplant

A cornea specialist can isolate the diseased inner layer of the cornea and replace the layer through a process called Descemet’s Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty (DSAEK). Your doctor will discuss this option with you if you are found to be a candidate for this procedure.
